Young Professional Group (YPG)
Young Professional Group (YPG)

The newly established Young Professional Group (YPG) within the Energy Procurement and Supply Association (EPSA) is a dedicated group specially for young (35 and under), Procurement and Supply Chain Professionals in the Energy Sector and is targeted at bridging the gap between emerging talent and seasoned professionals, offering a platform for young professionals to engage in networking, career and skill development, and industry insights.
The YPG will inform and share knowledge regarding energy sector issues through facilitating networking opportunities, collaborating with the EPSA Management Committee to organise major events face to face or virtual, this will also include facilitating YPG specific events.
Young professionals in the EPSA will benefit from the YPG events programs, workshops, and seminars led by industry experts, providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate and excel in the ever-evolving energy market. Additionally, the group encourages collaborative projects and knowledge exchange, creating opportunities for members to contribute fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to industry challenges.
This initiative not only enhances the professional development of its members but also strengthens the overall industry by ensuring a continuous influx of new talent and ideas. With a formalised mentorship and coaching program being established by the EPSA, young professionals can also seek out a mentor/coach from the more seasoned procurement members of EPSA, that can assist in fostering career growth, within a community that supports both individual and collective advancement within the energy procurement and supply sector.
The YPG will promote the Energy Procurement Supply Association and its value to all procurement and supply chain stakeholders, suppliers, and other interested parties across the energy sector. If the organisation you work for is an EPSA Member and you’re a young professional in Australia or Asia, we invite you to be part of the next generation of a dynamic and forward-thinking group designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders.
